ESCRS Moving Simulator
ESCRS is launching a brand-new, first-of-its-kind campaign to take an Eyesi Surgical Simulator to European countries with low access to this equipment.HSIOIRS first hosted the ESCRS Simulator at the 1st University Eye Clinic, Gen. Hospital of Athens “G.Gennimatas” on 30 October – 12 December 2023.
Following the exceptional success of this first visit, HSIOIRS is participating once again in the ESCRS Moving Simulator program. This time, the ESCRS simulator will be hosted at the premises of the First University Ophthalmology Clinic at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki “AHEPA”, from March 5 to May 5, 2025.
Greek trainees will have a chance to book in an 8 hour session on the simulator and conduct an ESCRS tailored curriculum. Upon completion they will receive an ESCRS certificate and be able to download their results.
To be eligible for this activity, students from Greece must first register to become an ESCRS member (this is free to trainees for 5 years). You can become a member of ESCRS here.
