ESCRS Moving Simulator

ESCRS is launching a brand-new, first-of-its-kind campaign to take an Eyesi Surgical Simulator to European countries with low access to this equipment.

HSIOIRS first hosted the ESCRS Simulator at the 1st University Eye Clinic, Gen. Hospital of Athens “G.Gennimatas” on 30 October – 12 December 2023.

       

Following the exceptional success of this first visit, HSIOIRS participated once again in the ESCRS Moving Simulator program. This time, the ESCRS simulator was hosted at the premises of the 1st University Ophthalmology Clinic at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki “AHEPA”, from March 5 to May 5, 2025.
Greek trainees had a chance to book in an 8 hour session on the simulator and conduct an ESCRS tailored curriculum. Upon completion they received an ESCRS certificate and their results.
